 Ascending Tracts:

Ascending Tracts or ascending pathway has three neurones in its pathway - primary neuron extends from Receptor and into the spinal cord via the dorsal root, secondary neuron make up the track in the spinal cord and the brain stem and take the sensation from primary or 1st order neuron to 3rd order neuron in the Thalamus, Tertiary neuron or 3rd order neuron from the thalamus to the primary sensory cortex of the brain or cerebrum via internal capsule. Ascending tracts ek lambi bijli ki supply hai jiske 3 parts hain ya 3 neurone. Pahla neurone receptor se shuru hota hai jise 1st order neuron kehte hain, aur 2nd order neuron ya secondary neuron spinal cord Mein piche se dorsal root ya peeche se enter karta hai aur  brainstem ya higher Centre ko paar karke 3rd order neuron ya tertiary neuron ya Teesra neurone jo thalamus se shuru hota hai aur phir brain ki primary sensory cortex Jata Hai Jahan per sensations finally pahuchti hain Chali jati hain internal capsule ke through.

Ascending tracts are 1. Dorsal column 2. Antero - Lateral spinothalamic tract

dorsal column for posterior column: It helps in the transmission of impulse or sensation like, fine touchtactile localisation (Kahan per touch ho raha hai), tactile discrimination (kitne touch feel ho rahe hain), proprioception ( Parts ke position ke bare mein), fine touch, Deep pressure, Stereognosis (Jab ham Koi object ko pahchan Paye Bina Dekhkar Lekin use object ke bare mein use subject ko pahle Jindagi Mein Kahin jankari ya mallum hona chahiye.

 Dorsal column/ Posterior Column:

Dorsal column fibres first order neuron or the first neuron start from the receptors and then you move towards the spinal cord. In the spinal cord, the enter via the dorsal root and synapse in the dorsal root after which ascend as Fasciculus gracilis and Fasciculus cuneatus.

posterior column yah dorsal column ke 1st neurone receptors se shuru hote hain inhe first order neurone kehte hain.  Receptor ek modification Hai neuron ka  yeh neuron ke fiber spinal cord Mein piche se enter karte hain aur ab spinal cord Mein  Upar Jayege 2 bundle banke Fasciculus gracilis and Fasciculus cuneatus. Ab yah donon tracks Upar Chalte jaenge.

Then the fibers go upto Nucleus Gracilis and Nucleus Cuneatus in the Medulla where the synapse of 1st order neuron occurs with 2nd neuron of the Nucleus Gracilis and Nucleus Cuneatus. The fibers of 2nd order neurons then extend to the thalamus where they synapse with neurons  of this order neurons starting from the thalamus to the sensory cortex.

Ab yeh fibers jo 1st order neurons ke hain Nucleus Gracilis aur Nucleus Cuneatus tak jayenge jo medulla mein hai aur wahan synpse karenge dusre neuron se jo 2nd order neurone ban jayenge. Yeh 2nd order neuron is Nucleus Gracilis aur cuneatus se extend karke thalamus tak jayenge wahan par yeh synapse karenge 3rd order neuron se jo phir ab brain ya cerebral cortex ke sensory area tak jayega jo central sulcus ke peeche hota hai.
